On October 18, BNY Mellon Luxembourg donated 25,000 USD to Caritas Luxembourg as part of their annual programme. The donation will be used to fund workshops for specific transition classes called "Passerelle", These classes are organized to support young refugees and migrants until they acquire the level of education needed to join the Luxembourg school system or start a professional career.

At the moment three of those classes are active in Luxembourg. They are run by qualified teachers from the department of "Solidarité et Intégration" within Caritas Luxembourg.

Since four years BNY Mellon is very committed to this programme and will continue to develop other partnerships with Caritas Luxembourg.
