Am 27. April werden Fahrradbenutzer, Filmliebhaber und Abenteurer in die Rotondes zur Loft Film Night eingeladen, der einzigen derartigen Veranstaltung in Luxemburg.
Der Abend startet mit der Verleihung des „Photo Award“. Das diesjährige Thema ist „Allwetter-Radfahrer" (Anmeldeschluss: 22. April). Die Jury, der u.a. auch professionelle Fotografen angehören, gibt Ihre Entscheidung bekannt und prämiert die Gewinner mit Preisen. Die Siegerfotos werden in den Rotondes ausgestellt.
Danach wird dem Publikum eine Auswahl der besten Fahrrad-Kurzfilme rund um den Globus präsentiert: Uganda, Schweden, Libanon, Großbritannien, Norwegen, Deutschland und USA. Das Programm basiert auf den Grundsätzen: Inspirierende, augenöffnende, visuell atemberaubende und großartige Erzählung. Das Fahrrad ist dabei nur eine Entschuldigung, um über uns zu reden und unsere Träume zu verwirklichen, über unsere emotionalen und geistigen Reisen, wie man eine bessere menschenfreundliche Umgebung schafft oder wie man Mühsal überwinden kann. Zu den Höhepunkten des Filmprogramms gehören „Cycologic" (Regie Emilia Stålhammar, Elsa Lövdin und Veronica Pålsson, Schweden) und „Length of Sweden " (Regie ERTZUI FILM, Deutschland). Der erste Film erzählt die überzeugende Geschichte von Amanda Ngabirano, Stadtplanerin, die eine ausdauernde und überzeugende Anwältin für den Bau von Radwegen in Ugandas Hauptstadt Kampala ist. Der Film gewann beim 11. Internationalen Festival des Fahrradfilms in Herne, Deutschland, dem Äquivalent der Oscars für Filme mit dem Thema Fahrrad. Der letztgenannte Film „Length of Sweden“ zeigt die Reise von drei Ausdauerradfahrern, auf einer der längsten und schönsten Radwanderungen der Welt. Die Mannschaft überstand 2.170 km auf dem Fahrrad, während sie Schweden in seiner gesamten Länge in sieben Tagen überwand. Mit einer atemberaubenden Fotografie folgt dieser Film auch der geistigen und emotionalen Reise der Hauptfiguren.
Schließlich wird die Veranstaltung mit der geführten B:NightRide # 2 gekrönt. Diese spannende, entspannte und soziale Rundfahrt ist so konzipiert, dass man einige Highlights der Stadt Luxemburg auf zwei Rädern erkundet.

Soirée spéciale consacrée aux courts métrages de bicyclette
Le 27 avril, cyclistes, cinéphiles et amateurs d'aventures sont invités aux Rotondes pour B:loft Film Night, le seul événement dédié au cinéma à vélo au Luxembourg.
L'événement débutera avec la cérémonie de remise des prix photo (Photo Award Ceremony). Le sujet de cette année est "cycliste en toutes saisons" (date limite pour les soumissions: 22 avril). Le jury, qui inclut des photographes professionnels, lira son verdict et présentera les lauréats avec des prix. Les photos gagnantes seront affichées à Rotondes.
Ensuite, le public recevra la meilleure sélection de films de vélo court de partout dans le monde : l'Ouganda, la Suède, le Liban, le Royaume-Uni, la Norvège, l'Allemagne et les Etats-Unis. Le film line-up est développé sur la base de principes directeurs: inspirant, qui ouvre les yeux, visuellement superbe, grande histoire. La bicyclette est juste une excuse pour parler de nous et pour réaliser nos rêves, nos voyages émotionnels et mentaux, comment créer un environnement plus favorable à l'homme ou comment surmonter les difficultés. Parmi les points saillants du programme, citons "Cycologic" (Emilia Stålhammar, Elsa Lövdin et Veronica Pålsson, Suède) et "Length of Sweden" (dir. ERTZUI FILM, Allemagne). Le premier film raconte l'histoire convaincante d'Amanda Ngabirano, planificatrice urbaine, qui défend avec persévérance et persuasion la mise en place de pistes cyclables dans la capitale de l'Ouganda, à Kampala. Le film a remporté le 11ème Festival international du film cycliste à Herne, en Allemagne, l'équivalent de l'Oscar pour les films liés à la bicyclette. Ce dernier film, “Length of Sweden", retrace le parcours de trois cyclistes d'endurance en poursuivant l'une des randonnées les plus longues et les plus belles du monde. L'équipe a enduré 2 177 kilomètres car ils ont parcouru toute la longueur de la Suède en sept jours. Se démarquant avec une superbe photographie, ce film suit également un voyage mental et émotionnel des personnages principaux.

A special night dedicated to short bicycle movies
On April 27th, bicycle users, film lovers and adventure seekers are invited to Rotondes for B:loft Film Night, the only such an event dedicated to bicycle films in Luxembourg.
The event will kick off with Photo Award Ceremony. This year’s subject is “All-weather cyclist” (deadline for submissions: April 22nd). The jury, including professional photographers, will read out its verdict and present the winners with awards. The winning photos will be displayed at Rotondes.
Next, the public will be treated to the finest selection of short bicycle films from around the globe: Uganda, Sweden, Lebanon, UK, Norway, Germany and USA. The film line-up is developed based on guiding principles: inspiring, eye-opening, visually stunning, great storytelling. The bicycle is just an excuse to talk about us and about achieving our dreams, about our emotional and mental journeys, how to create a better human-friendly environment or how to overcome hardship. The highlights of the film programme include “Cycologic” (dir. Emilia Stålhammar, Elsa Lövdin and Veronica Pålsson, Sweden) and “Length of Sweden” (dir. ERTZUI FILM, Germany). The first movie tells the compelling story about Amanda Ngabirano, urban planner, who is a persistent and persuasive advocate for the implementation of bike lanes in in Uganda’s Capital, Kampala. The film won the 11th the International Cycling Film Festival in Herne, Germany, the equivalent of the Oscar for bicycle related films. The latter movie, “Length of Sweden” captures the journey of three endurance cyclists as they pursue one of the world’s longest and most beautiful randonées. The team endured 2,177k as they traversed the entire length of Sweden in seven days. Standing out with stunning photography, this movie also follows a mental and emotional journey of the main characters.
Finally, the event will be crowned with the guided B:Night Ride
