Sharon den Adel, lead vocalist of Within Temptation, reveals on the bands homepage that she is expecting a baby and apologies at the same time to the fans that the tour dates for spring 2011 have been re-scheduled for the Fall of 2011. She openly states: ”To be honest, this was not planned but we are very happy about this surprise, as our children are an enrichment of our lives”.

Within Temptation very much honors the fact that a lot of their fans have bought tickets early on with the effect that the shows in London, Paris, and Copenhagen were upgraded to bigger venues. Due to the strong demand for tickets, 12 additional shows are added to the re-scheduled European tour, which now kicks off on September 21st. New shows in Portugal and the Czech Republic have now been confirmed as well.

Within Temptation are currently in the studio finalizing their long awaited fifth studio album with producer Daniel Gibson. Titled "The Unforgiving", this is the band's first concept album and is based on a comic book story written by script writer Steven O'Connell (BloodRayne & Dark 48). The band asked comic artist Romano Molenaar (Witchblade,Darkness and X-men) to draw the characters and scenery of “The Unforgiving”.

The album is set for release in March 2011, via Sony Music in Continental Europe and Roadrunner Records in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland, Japan and Australia.

All tickets sold for the Rockhal show on April 1st stay valid for the new date: 4 November.
