Kenny Werner is a world renowned Jazz pianist as well as a composer with a Grammy nomination and Guggenheim Fellowship among his accomplishments.  He is also author of the book Effortless Mastery, which has been translated into numerous languages and has changed the lives of countless professional and aspiring musicians. Kenny Werner, the artistic director of the Effortless Mastery Institute, believes that mastery is available to everyone. An accomplished jazz pianist in his own right, he uses his own life story and experiences to explore the barriers to creativity and mastery of music. His book  Effortless Mastery: Liberating the Master Musician Within is one of the most widely read books on music and improvisation, and has helped thousands of musicians around the world unlock their talent and potential.The lecture is open to all students, teachers, musicians and anyone who wishes to attend.

The lecture and solo concert are part of the international conference International MusicschoolSeminar 2019 (IMS) which is organized by the Association des Ecoles de Musique du Luxembourg (AEM) from 20. to 22. march with stage fright being this year's leading topic.
