Guided tour "MEMORIAL WALK" – Esch-Alzette – 2.30 pm @museum – EN
Every saturday from 2.30 pm you can enjoy guided tours and discover the historical Esch during the occupation. The guided tours are given alternately in german/luxembourgish, french or english. The meeting point is in front of the museum on the "place de la Résistance". The tour is free of charge.
The Memorial walk takes you to various places of importance for the memory of the war in Esch, including the museum, the "place de la Synagogue" and the town hall. It looks for traces of this difficult and painful period and includes some of the 40 "Stolpersteine" (stumbling blocks) that were placed in memory of the - often jewish - victims of the nazis.
