Commemorating the “Defender of the Fatherland Day”, the Russian mission recently organized a charming reception at the prestigious castle of Beggen.
As a special surprise to his guests, His Excellency Ambassador Alexander Shulgin was to introduce famous opera singer Mr Vladimir Makarov, who had journeyed over from Saarbrücken (Germany), in order to perform a selection of traditional Russian songs.
Among the honoured guests was furthermore Mr Gérard N. Fritz, whom had been asked to exhibit several pieces of his fabulous collection of genuine Russian uniforms, ranging from 1870 to the present days.
Mr Fritz will also be starring in a Russian TV show, due to air later this year...
