Deborah, die Siegerin der RTL-Castingshow „Wanns de eppes kanns“, bringt am 15. März 2014 ihr heiß ersehntes Debüt-Album „Standing Memories“ heraus.
Die luxemburgische Popkünstlerin, die seit frühester Kindheit singt und Klavier spielt, erlangte große Bekanntheit als sie 2011 die RTL-Castingshow „Wanns de eppes kanns“ gewann. Mit ihrer überwältigenden Darbietung von Alicia Keys’ Hit-Single „Empire State of Mind“ konnte sie ihr Talent und ihre kraftvolle Stimme unter Beweis stellen. Dank ihres Erfolges veröffentlichte sie im Juni 2011 ihre erste Single „My Band“. Sofort von Erfolg gekrönt, stieg „My Band“ in den RTL- und iTunes Luxemburg-Charts auf Platz 1. Ihre zweite Single „Sorry Babe“, mit dem luxemburgischen Rapper eXemo, folgte im November 2011.
Nach einer zweijährigen Pause, während der sie sich aufs Songschreiben und –aufnehmen konzentrierte, ist Deborah nun zurück mit ihrem Debüt-Album „Standing Memories“, das sie auf dem Label G-Minor Records veröffentlicht. Neben ihren beiden vorherigen Singles enthält das Album acht brandneue Songs die eine neue musikalische Richtung aufzeigen: Mit dem Wechsel von Teen-Pop zu einem erwachseneren Pop-Stil inspiriert sich die Sängerin an verschiedenen musikalischen Stilen. Von schnelleren Pop-Rock-Nummern bis hin zu langsameren, melodischeren Songs bietet „Standing Memories“ eine große musikalische Bandbreite und betont Deborahs vielseitige Stimme.
Ein offizielles Release-Konzert findet am 15. März 2014 im Melusina statt.

L‘artiste pop luxembourgeoise, qui chante et joue du piano depuis toute jeune, est devenue célèbre en 2011 quand elle a gagné le castingshow de RTL « Wanns de eppes kanns ». Avec son interprétation sensationnelle du tube « Empire State of Mind » d’Alicia Keys, elle a fait preuve de son talent et de sa voix puissante. Dans le sillage de son succès, elle a sorti, en juin 2011, son premier single « My Band ». Étant un succès immédiat, « My Band » est devenu numéro 1 au hit-parade sur RTL et iTunes Luxembourg. Son deuxième single « Sorry Babe », en featuring avec le rappeur luxembourgeois eXemo, a suivi en novembre 2011.
Après une pause de deux ans, durant laquelle elle s’est concentrée sur l’écriture et l’enregistrement, Deborah est de retour avec son premier album « Standing Memories », qu'elle sort sous le label G-Minor Records. À côté de ses singles précédents, l’album contient huit nouvelles chansons qui montrent un changement dans son style musical : de teen pop à un style pop plus adulte, la chanteuse s’inspire de différents styles musicaux. Allant de morceaux pop-rock au tempo rapide à des chansons plus calmes et mélodieuses, « Standing Memories » offre une grande diversité musicale et souligne la voix protéiforme de Deborah.
Un concert de lancement aura lieu le 15 mars 2014 au Melusina.

Deborah, the winner of the RTL casting show “Wanns de eppes kanns”, releases her highly anticipated debut album “Standing Memories” on March 15, 2014.
The Luxembourgish pop artist, who sings and plays the piano since a very young age, rose to fame in 2011 when she won the RTL casting show “Wanns de eppes kanns”. With a stunning performance of Alicia Keys’ hit-single “Empire State of Mind”, she showcased her talent and her powerful voice. In the wake of her success, she released, in June 2011, her first single “My Band”. Being an instant success, “My Band” topped the RTL and iTunes Luxembourg charts. Her second single “Sorry Babe”, featuring the Luxembourgish rapper eXemo, followed in November 2011.
After a break of two years, during which she focused on songwriting and recording, Deborah is now back with her debut album “Standing Memories”, which she releases on the label G-Minor Records. Besides her two previous singles, the album features eight brand new songs that point out a change in her musical direction: from teen pop to a more adult pop style, the singer draws inspiration from different musical styles. Ranging from up-tempo pop-rock tracks to more smooth and melodic songs, “Standing Memories” offers a large musical diversity and emphasizes Deborah’s versatile voice.
An official release concert will be held at the Melusina on March 15, 2014.
