Ruffbus Syrdall – the new personalized electric shuttle service for the communes of Niederanven and Schuttrange

On February 28, 2022, the representatives of the communes of Niederanven and Schuttrange met at the "A Schommesch" multi-purpose center in Niederanven in the presence of the Director of the Public Transport Administration, Mr. Alex Kies, for the official inauguration of the new “Ruffbus Syrdall”.

As of March 1st, the call bus of the commune of Niederanven “Charly” will be merged with the “Syri-Express” of the commune of Schuttrange to form the joint “Ruffbus Syrdall”. This merger will enable a more efficient use of the two buses, which will serve the entire territories of both communes in their new design. In addition to the two communes, several stations are also served in the neighboring communes of Betzdorf, Contern and Sandweiler, as well as the “Rehazenter” and the “Hospital Robert Schuman” in Kirchberg.

The Ruffbus Syrdall is free of charge for the citizens of the communes Niederanven and Schuttrange. You can reserve your ride by calling 28 108 -39.

The use of electric buses therefore clearly underlines the commitment of the two communes to climate protection.
